These works concern my return to the cyclical "figurative pictorial technique". Painting is the code to find oneself, to reveal the thread that unites individual research to the practice of painting, the double need to support the new and / or abandon ordinary models. Reorganize ideas, in a vital way that develops according to a project aimed at order and chaos, doing and undoing, to find the zero degree of its existence. The need leads me to the recovery of Sienese"medieval primitivism", not to enchant iconology, but to recover pictorial skills. Since Cubism makes use of Giotto's painting, reading the criticisms of those subjects can help to regain expressive confidence. The novelty with respect to medieval symbolic language is to replace biblical exegesis with facts and stories of everyday contemporary society. It is likely that the golden support of the reverb surface creates a suspension, a void, a space, which would be realized only with our presence. Images and contents are developed from the plethora of images from the WWW, from the diaries of "blogs", which show the flash of collective psychology: discourses on the environment, conflicts, politics, the search for someone to communicate with, the denunciation of injustices. The icons of contemporary attention to the diversity of messages; pursuing, in some cases, the right intentions, in others the obvious, often kitsch. Is this perhaps the character and the visual language of the new millennium? The request is consistent, judging by the lightness of advertising and media.
